Our wee dog made great progress after complicated knee surgery. He gained fitness quickly and re-gained his confidence after a long period of confinement. Valerie made sure we took things at his pace and helped us get our confidence back in letting him be a regular dog again. I would recommend using the pool for rehab and/or fitness. Valerie is very knowledgeable and caring." D. Whiteman |
Amazing place, I have taken my dog there for years, now just for maintenance of her strength (after a back injury) and to see the happiness in my dog's eyes (she loves it so much I struggle to control her excitement ). And Valerie.. well she is friendly, caring and incredibly passionate about her job. Recommend to all dog lovers whether your dog has an injury or not!" L. Cook |

We've been taking our 13 and a half year old tri-paw (3 legged) Labrador for hydrotherapy each week, which he loves. The exercise and ease of mobility that he feels in the pool is easy to see, as he loves every minute of his swim time. The pool facility is well set out, making it easy to get a large dog into and out of the water. Valerie is very kind and her care for the dogs is clear, she's always happy to have a chat and give advice." S. Hayes |
We were advised that swimming would be the best option for our Labrador Maddy after her surgery. The progress has certainly been worth the travel. Valerie had a reluctant client with Maddy, not the usual water-loving Labrador. She was so encouraging and professional in her approach to Maddy's progress and wellbeing. We would certainly recommend trying this form of convalescence and recovery of muscle and ligament injuries." A. McNeill |
